| 520 | ▼b영문초록 : The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the development process, to observe the difficult problems of Korean Automobile Industry, and to seek after their solutions. First of all, chapter one explains the objective and method of this study. And chapter two deals with the specific character and economic effects of Automobile Industry. Chapter Three observes the present situation of major nations including Korea on Automobile Industry. As the main content of this thesis, chapter four analyzes the development process of Korean Automobile Industry by means of "Product Life Cycle Theory". On the basis of this analysis, it is estimated that the level of Korea Automobile Industry is nearly similar with that of the major industried countries, especially Japan. Chapter five is the conclusion of this study. This chapter is to search for the problems on Korea Automobile Industry and its solution. As results of this analysis, the central problems are the shortage of new technology and the weakening of Price Competitiveness caused by the consecutive increasing of labor cost and the changes of world economy's state; regionalism, new protectionism, multilateralism and so forth. Therefore, Korea will have to strengthen the competitiveness of Automobile Industry and expand its export to all over the world For this purpose, Korea will have to promote the automation of equipment and plant for the improvement of productivity, the expansion of R & D investment in new product and new technology. | |
