520 b영문초록 : The aim of this study is In present economical Cooling System per office building scale by analyzing its Cooling System Per refrigerating capacity by the analysis method of LCC(Life Cycle Costing), a general economical efficiency analysis method considering total amount of investment, service life, salvage value and the change of price caused by interest rate or inflation. Since the evaluation of economical efficiency of the recent Cooling System has been changed according to the selecting of the evaluation method of it which are in case of using urban gas fuel or using electric power and midnight electric power. And also because there are differences from the results of the evaluation of economical efficiency according to the type or scale of building though the same method would be applied. Life cycle costing(LCC) is the process of making an economic assessment of an item, area, system, or facility by considering all significant costs of ownership over an economic life, expressed in terms of equivalent costs. The essence of life cycle costing is the analysis of equivalent costs of various alternative proposals. LCC element of HVAC systems is Initial costs, Operations costs, Maintenance costs, Replacement/Alterations costs, Tax costs, Salvage costs etc. and considerable factor is Discount or Interest rate, Escalation, Service life etc. In order to compare design alternatives, both present and future costs for each alternative must be brought to a common point in time. One of two methods is used. Costs may be converted to today's cost by the present worth method, or they may be converted to an annual series of payments by the annualized method. The results of the economical efficiency evaluation and its analysis of the Cooling System by office building scale by the method of LCC analysis are as follows: 1. In small-to-medium sized office buildings, Absorption Refrigerating Machine System is the most economical system and the Ice Thermal Storage System is the most economical cooling system in large sized office buildings. 2. In case of Absorption Refrigerating Machine System in small-to-medium sized office buildings, the use of LPG fuel is not so economical. So the introduction of LNG fuel in Pusan area is urgent(scheduled to be introduced in 1996). In case of Ice Thermal Storage System in large sized office buildings, it was appeared economical because of low energy cost and various kinds of support money system, so the constant execution of that system should be kept(ex. : temporary free support money system of Korea Electric power Corp. in December 1994). 3. The change of economical efficiency of the Cooling System by the change of service life of cooling machine is almost rare, and the cost of energy in LCC analysis is very important because the increase rate of energy cost and the change of economical efficiency by the kind of heat source (LNG, LPG and etc.) are very large. The basic data such as service life, operating labor cost, average failure rate, maintenance costs and the amount of energy consumption which hate an effect on the economical efficiency by the LCC analysis method should be studied constantly in the future.
