520 b영문초록 : Tapesry Manufacture developed from HenryII and Paris was the center of this shop in 17 century were unified for the purpose of manufacture of royal artistic works by Colbert in 1662 and they were formed Gobelin. Le Burn oppointed to be an artistic supreme direct by Colbert produced a draft only for tapestry manufacture, so, that tapestry subordinated to drawings contructed on independent genre is a historical significance. But Le Burn was guided by Poussin laid stress on strict dessin by using perspective, light and shade, he managed Gobelin, so the pictorial atmospere was lasted under his artist influence in Gobelin. Tapestry has a close relation with the sense of ornament, sociality, conception, morality, and this world which are difficulty to find out in the other aesthetic state of expression. According to these peculiarities, Gobelin is compared 17, 18 century dominated by the Barocque and the Rococo mode distinctly divided by ideal and sociality. In this research, it is divided into the Baroque whose period was from its foundation, Colebrt's death in 1683 Mignard's appearance-he had quite a different the notion from Le Burn's-, to closing the shop in 1694 because of financial difficulty, and the Rococo whose period was from reopening the shop in 1699 to 18 century. In 17 century, traditional academicism, bereaucratism by the absolute royal authority, and commerce were developed and in 18 century, individual materialism and the pursuit of happiness in this world were stressed. The charateristics appeared by these respects are as follows. The first, in Gobelin manufacture in 17 century the works of high quality and royal works were produce by the haute-lice, but the base-lice only followed semi-direction, in 18 century, base-lice was preferred and prevailed by Oudry who were keen to reproduce drawings and Neilson's reform in 1750. The second, in 17 century Gobelin committed an error because consistency of idea on the basis of the official art representing immese scale, excessive decoration and grand pressure for king's glory and greatness but in 18 century, with Beauvais, Aubusson who were the centural figures of Paris Tapestry, the fassion and theme was pastoral, exotic, realistic and pure ornament. The third, in 17 century the main stream was pictorial element, story-talling classic tendency, on the other hand, Alentour mode which was appeared in the ancient tapestry and Mille-Pleur's develope mode was called the creative work with the most important ornamental element. The fourth, the exotic theme by the developing trade and commerce in 17 century became European in 18 century and the historic and my thological theme erupted new aesthetic trend under the influence academicism and ornament in 17 century developed into holy, subtel, and femimine personality in 18 century. I want that tapestry in the periods of the Baroque and the Rococo in to be understood in the present time and tapestry is also to be realized as a genre of the infinite artistic world, additionally, the activity of tapestry production is to be helpful to the development of the modern fabric art by using the basis of tradition of past, and by develope various work matarial and by eruping into the various form of expression through the cultural artistic stream, the centural idea of sociaty, all the phases of life.
