영문초록 : Considering present conditions that most of enterprises in our country are facing now, it is difficult to invest a lot money to welfare facilities immediately. On the other hand, the positive attitude of many enterprises in developed countries toward improvement of welfare facilities enabled them to improve their company images and secure good quality fo labor, which played basic role in rasing productivity. Now, Korean enterprises also are required to increase their interest in welfare facilities. Because they are in the phase of social interest and social welfare, and it can make them increase their productivity. Accordingly each enterprise should not disregard social and economical situation and need of social welfare, but make continuous efforts to improve employees' welfare. Therfore, the management is requested to have the active and positive carriage toward employees' welfare. And such changes must be implemented based on scientific principles, the likes of propriety, fairness, cooperation between employees and employer and outside organizations, and employees' voluntarism. Each management should study the method of investment in welfare, and comply with employees general wants. Especially, welfare facilities for employees located at the construction site are comparatively poor. The management should not stick to the thought the facilities will not be necessary when the construction is finished, but make efforts to secure welfare facilities as much as the conditions are allowed.
