항만물류산업에 적합한 XML/EDI 방안 연구

영문초록 : Korean government, port and logistics companies have given a lot of their efforts to exchange electronic documents between themselves and their partners. As the results of them, Korean EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) standards were made by Korean EDIFACT committee and the standards have been used by companies and governmental organizations in Korea. However, Korean port and logistics EDI system is based on VAN(Value Added Network) and one VAN company has monopolistic right to relay EDI documents to Korean MOMAF(Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Fisheries) and Customs Service. Therefore it leads to a lot of problems such as inconvenient software, expensive transmission fee, insufficient improvement of business process and the difficulty of connection with the in-house systems of user companies. For solving these problems, this study is aimed to progress for XML and XML-based electronic commerce framework. This paper shows a optimal XML/EDI method using XML/EDI, BizTalk Framework, ebXML Framework. For improving extant problems in port and logistics industry, this paper proposed XML/EDI system based on system architectural level, support technical level, business infrastructure level. / 한글초록 : 국내의 항만물류산업에서는 서류 전송을 합리화하고 입력데이터의 오류를 없애기 위해 EDI를 도입·실행하여 왔다. 그러나, 기존의 항만물류산업에서 사용중인 전통적인 EDI는 사내 정보시스템과의 비연계성, 과중한 EDI 구축비용과 소프트웨어 구입비 및 EDI 통신료, 산업간 EDI 자료교환의 불가능, 업무프로세스의 개선 미약 등 제반 문제점들이 미해결 상태로 남아있다. 차세대 인터넷 언어로 각광받고 있는 XML은 기존의 데이터를 보다 쉽게 표현, 교환, 저장할 수 있어 무역, 금융, 멀티미디어, 전자상거래 등 다양한 분야에 응용되고 있다. 특히 XML의 개방적이고, 유연한 특징으로 인해 상이한 데이터 및 문서포맷을 지닌 다수의 거래 업체간에 뛰어난 상호운영성을 가져와 이의 이용비율이 급속도로 증가하고 있으며, 이를 위해 다수의 XML기반 프레임워크가 개발되어 적용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전통적인 EDI 방식에 의존하고 있는 항만물류산업에 잔존하고 있는 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 XML/EDI 시스템의 도입에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위하여, 정보교환을 위한 인프라에 초점을 두고 외국항만의 정보시스템을 고찰하여 성공요인을 분석하였으며, XML기반 문서통합구조에 대해 조사하였다. XML/EDI 방식의 도입과 관련하여 항만물류산업 EDI 시스템의 시스템 구조 수준, 지원기술 수준, 비즈니스 인프라 수준에 맞추어 XML기반 프레임워크 중 XML/EDI, BizTalk 프레임워크, ebXML 프레임워크를 적용하여 이들의 구조를 밝혀내고 각 프레임워크의 유효성을 검증함으로써 항만물류산업에서의 XML/EDI 구성방안을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 항만물류산업의 XML/EDI 시스템은 다양한 업무주체와 프로세스, 대량의 데이터를 처리해야하는 항만물류산업에 기존 EDI와 호환, 엔터프라이즈 어플리케이션 통합, 거래상대방과의 비즈니스 프로세스 개선 등의 기대효과가 있을 것이다.
