520 b영문초록 : This study was carried out in order to measure, compare and analyze some important physical fitness factors in each event among fighting sport players. If further aimed to be of much service in efficient management and development of the players as well as in the composition of their training. All 65 subjects (ssirum: 12, judo: 13, wrestling: 15, boxing: 11, taekwondo: 14) were chosen for the research. Such physical fitness factors as muscular strength (5 items), muscular endurance (3), whole body endurance (3), power (2), flexibility (2), agility (1) and balance (1) were experimented 1. In the item of maximum muscular strength, the ssirum players group was generally the highest, followed by the groups of judo, wrestling, taekwondo and boxing. The wrestling group marked excellence in grip strength and upper arm flexion, while the taekwondo group was surprisingly superb in leg extension. 2. On the part of relative muscular strength, each group's merit was different. Thus, ssirum players were excellent in shoulder and upper arm pushing, right leg flexion, and upper arm extension (left and right); judo relatively high in upper arm flexion and extension; wrestling mostly h gh in back strength, shoulder and upper arm pulling, grip strength (left and right), and upper arm flexion (left and right); boxing generally the lowest in each part; and the taekwondo group was excellent in left leg flexion and leg extension (left and right) but the lowest in upper arm strength. 3. In muscular endurance, the wrestling and boxing groups were higher than the rest. 4. In whole body endurance, the best-two groups in vital capacity were ssirum and taekwondo; those in maximum breathing capacity (MBC) were taekwondo and ssirum; and those in physical efficiency index (PEI) by Harbard Step Test were boxing and wrestling, in order. 5. In the agility item of side step, the taekwondo group won supremacy. 6. In the flexibility item of trunk extension, taekwondo, wrestling and ssirum got somewhat high record in order. Similarly, in trunk flexion, two groups of taekwondo and wrestling were higher than others. 7. As for power, in the items of sargent jump and 50 meter dash the ssirum and taekwondo groups were the best and boxing players were the worst. 8. In the balance item of CEFB(Closed Eyes Foot Balance), taekwondo players turned out the best and the groups of judo and boxing were the next.
