영문초록 : This study, as made clear in the introduction, made "Gongban-jeon" the first work of Gajeon in our country, Im Chun, "Jeonsin-leon" by KIM, Man-jin in the .latter part of Chosun age, and , "Gongban-jeon", by CHO, Kyu-cheol in the latter part of Lee Dynasty the objects of study. The common characteristics of the above mentioned three works are the same Gajeon works of the same subject matter established money as their objects. Among them, two works by Mr. IM. and Mr. CHO are same characters as well as desigrations, that is, Gajeon works of the same name and same subject matter. Especially, observing the eternal life strength possessed by our Ga,jeon litereture, position searching of an independent genre, not follower to other genre in our history of literature is keenly demanded. When observing Gajeon from the category of one personified literature not as their pasthumous works merely left in writers' collection of works, much interest is required for future study. The conclusions of this thesis observed based ,on, such. facts are summarized and adjusted as follows : First, the existing Gaieon study mainly centered on works of Goryo age, but it could understand that due to study of various individual. works recently, the Gaieon works of the same Ilip-jeonmul (立傳物) such as "Gongbang-jeon" by IM, Chun, Jeonsin-jeon by KIM, Man-Jin and "Gongban-jeon" by CHO, Gyu-cheol have been closely connected. Second, in the construction of narration of each work, the behavior of the heo in the "Gongbang-jeon" by IM, Chun is the repeted form by the rising and falling trend, and "Jeonsin-jeon" by KIM, Man-jin is the conversational structure between the hero as the axis ud- the cast, and Gongbang-jeon·". by CHO, Gyu-cheol is the narrative structure form of two short fictious episodes. And, as the comparison of detailed element, each item excluding the structure of works are established and executed analysis. Third, It was understood when observing the symbolic nature of money in the worts as the empiracal symbolic nature based on writers' experienced, IM, Chun's work expresses falling symbolic nature when it is observed from standpoint of a kind of money, "Jeonsin-jeon" expresses rising nature, and in case of Cho, Gyu-cheol , it expressed dual symbolic of rising and fall ins trend. Fourth, on the phase of Ga.ieon literature, "Gongbang-jeon" by IM, Chun is the subject matter showing current events, and both "Gajeon" including "Guksun-jeon" were the first works and made the ground in our history of literature, by which they they can be highly appraised. "Jeonsin-jeon" by KIM, Man-jin has a great meaning in that it is the biography of a Confusion scholar who played an enlightening role by criticising the view of governing by the traditional Confucian society after Yang-ran(nin) and by advocating the introduction of commercial capitalism in this country. The works by CHO, Gyu-cheol has new meaning in the points that it has the probability of the last work in· our history of Gajeon, and that the existing works belonging to a genre of biography. Discussion is closed with above,1 and the writer wishes to present future subject; First of all, there appear personifi-cating animals like animal fables in· "Gajeon", and it is required to study the reciprocal connection of such technique deeply through works.
