The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship betweenwork-family support, parenting alliance, marital conflict, and problembehavior of young children, and to examine the media effect of parentingalliance and marital conflict from the relationship between parents'work-family support and problem behavior of young children. With parental work-family support as independent variables, parentalparenting alliance and marital conflict as parameters, and problembehaviors of young children as subordinate variables, 1204 parents of 3-6year old children in three provinces in central China were surveyed byquestionnaire. SPSS26.0 was used for descriptive statistical analysis, difference analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis.AMOS 24.0 was used for confirmatory factor analysis and structuralequation model verification. The main results of this study are as follows:First, from the perspective of overall tendency, parents' work-familysupport and parenting alliance are above the median level, while couples'conflict and children's problem behavior are below the median level.Second, sociodemographic variables (sex, age of children; Parents'education level, monthly income; Children's gender and age, parents'position and monthly income have significant differences in children'sproblem behaviors, but parents' education level and work unit nature donot have significant differences. From the perspective of gendercharacteristics of children, the level of problem behavior of male children is higher than that of female children, and this difference is mostsignificant in hyperactive behavior and aggressive behavior sub-factors.From the perspective of the position characteristics of parents, parentswho are general employees have the highest level of child problembehavior, followed by grass-roots managers, middle managers and seniormanagers, and parents who are senior managers have the lowest level ofchild problem behavior. From the perspective of different income levels, the monthly income level of father or mother has significant differencesin the sub-factor hyperactivity problem behavior. Children with a monthlyincome of father or mother below 3000 have the highest level ofhyperactivity problem behavior, and children with a monthly incomeabove 15000 yuan have the lowest level of hyperactivity problembehavior. From the perspective of children's age, children aged 3-4 havethe highest level of hyperactivity and anxiety problem behavior, followedby children aged 4-5, and children aged 5-6 have the lowest level ofhyperactivity and anxiety problem behavior.Thirdly, the influence of parents' work-family support, parenting allianceand marital conflict on children's problem behavior is analyzed. Theresults show that parenting alliance and marital conflict have an impacton children's problem behavior, while parents' work-family support has nosignificant impact on children's problem behavior. In other words, thehigher the parental involvement in the parenting process, the higher thelevel of parental consistency, the lower the level of problem behavior inyoung children. The more serious the conflict between husband and wife, the higher the level of children's problem behavior.Fourthly, the media effects of parenting alliance and marital conflictare analyzed from the relationship between parents' work-family supportand children's problem behaviors. The results show that the direct effectsof parents' work-family support on children's problem behaviors are notsignificant, but the indirect effects of parenting alliance and maritalconflict are significant, and the full media effects have been verified. The results of this study show that parental work-family support is animportant variable affecting young children's problem behavior, and in the process of parental work-family support affecting young children'sproblem behavior, parental alliance and marital conflict have mediaeffects. In order to reduce the level of problem behavior in youngchildren, it is necessary to improve parental work-family support. At thesame time, we should pay attention to the influence of parenting allianceand marital conflict on children's problem behavior, reduce conflictsbetween couples, improve their participation in child rearing, andcoordinate the upbringing of children.
