Photoshop(cc 2018)과 Adobe Illustrator(cs 6.0) 소프트웨어를 이용하여 가장 대표적인 여성복 5벌을 제작하였다.
Influenced by the social background and aesthetic trends of the Victorian period, women in the middle and upper classes of the Victorian period (1832-1910) had a special way of life, dress concept, and aesthetic vision, and their clothing dominated the fashion trend of the Victorian period. The changes in the structure, pattern and cutting methods of women's clothing in the Victorian period marked the transformation of women's clothing from classical styling to modern styling. The Victorian period was an important transition period in the history of Western clothing, which laid the foundation for the structure and pattern design of modern clothing. The second chapter of this paper finds that there is still a lack of research on women's clothing in the Victorian period through the research of Chinese, Korean and Western academic achievements. No scholar has conducted a comprehensive comparison and study of the shape, structure and pattern of women's clothing in the middle and upper classes of the Victorian period. In addition, there are no studies on kinesiological changes in Victorian upper-middle-class women's clothing. The third chapter of this thesis takes Victorian women as objects, and analyzes the social roles, fashion trends and ideal images of Victorian women in combination with the social characteristics of the early, middle and late Victorian periods. Through research, we can see that, influenced by social status, wealth, and class rights, the mainstream fashion of women's clothing in the Victorian period was dominated by the middle and upper classes. In the early Victorian period, the rational image of women was influenced by men's aesthetics, showing the characteristics of slenderness and weakness. With the progress of feminism and the independence of women, women gradually broke away from the rigid and stereotyped ideal image and began to pursue a natural and healthy state. The fourth chapter of this paper takes the Victorian middle and upper class women's clothing as the object, and divides their clothing into stylistic and chronological order. It is divided into four stages: the Romanticism period, the Crinoline period, the bustle period, and the Art Nouveau period, and comparatively analyzes the changes of women's clothing, underwear (corset and buttocks support), and paper patterns in the middle and upper layers. Through the research, it can be seen that the evolution of the silhouette of women's clothing in the Victorian period was mainly affected by the underwear, the partial shape of the clothing, and the cutting method. The four styles of women's clothing can be divided into two silhouettes, X-type and S-type, and the changes of the silhouette are mainly shaped by underwear. With the development of materials, production technology and fashion aesthetics, underwear has gradually developed from a decorative style to a functional style. From the aspect of pattern, the pattern of Victorian women's clothing has an epoch-making development. During the bustle style period, the skirt pattern of women's clothing was changed from flat cutting to draping. With the development of paper pattern drawing technology, the dart design, structural division and size ratio of women's clothing tops have been modernized in the Art Nouveau period. The fifth chapter of this paper is based on the physical objects of women's clothing in the middle and upper classes of the Victorian period, and collects 510 physical samples of women's clothing collected by museums and individual collectors such as China National Silk Museum, China Maritime Culture and Art Center, Victoria & Albert Museum, London museum and so on. 400 pieces of women's clothing that meet the restoration standards were selected for sampling, and the local styles of women's clothing that were representative of the Victorian period were analyzed. By using photoshop and Adobe llustrator software, the composition diagrams of 5 representative women's clothes are drawn, which are named as style I, style II, style III, style IV, style V. Five patterns were developed for the above restored women's clothing styles, named Pattern I, Pattern II, Pattern III, Pattern IV, and Pattern V. In addition, a 1/2 size international female mannequin (160/84Y) was selected for restoration.Through the proportion analysis of waist and bust, back and waist, shoulder and waist size for women's clothing. It can be seen that women in the Victorian period gradually strengthened their pursuit of a thin waist from the Romanticism period to the peak in the Crinoline period. The bustle period and the s-shaped period reduced the restraint of clothing on the waist of women. From the perspective of arm mobility, with the development of cutting technology, the improvement of pattern drawing technology, and the strengthening of attention to human body modeling, the comfort and motor function of Victorian women's sleeve patterns have been continuously improved. Because Victorian underwear (corset and hip support) had a great influence on the motor function of women's clothing, this study developed three representative Victorian women's underwear styles, named Style F, Style G, Style H. Using 3d clo virtual fitting software to evaluate the deformation rate and pressure of underwear after wearing. It can be seen that with the optimization of shape, material, structure line and paper pattern, the Victorian period women's underwear shaped the body more scientifically, and the comfort and motor function of the underwear have been greatly improved. This study shows that, influenced by social background, lifestyle, fashion trends, and ideal image, the silhouette of Victorian women's clothing changed from X-shape to S-shape. In the early days of Victoria, women's clothing was more restrictive to the body, and women used underwear and clothing to partially shape the body into an X-shaped outline. The kinesiology of this garment for women is poor. With the change of society, the ideal image of women, and the change of clothing production technology, the functionality and motor function of women's clothing gradually increase, and the restraint and excessive shaping of the body gradually decrease. At the end of Victoria, the comprehensive application of plane cutting and draping cutting, and the scientific and professionalization of pattern drawing, made women's clothing gradually change from the classical clothing that bound the body to the modern clothing with sports function. Laid the foundation for modern garment patterns and structures.
