The purpose of this paper is to analyze the limitations of applying the artifacts acquisition tool that is commonly used for the traditional Linux system in Docker environment and to suggest the suitable artifacts acquisition tool for Docker environment. As a result of the research, I have developed an artifacts acquisition tool suitable for Docker environment. Although artifacts acquisition tool for Linux systems is suitable for traditional Linux systems, limitation in applying to the Docker platform based on Linux Container has been confirmed in this study. The limitation is that it does not collect backdoor process, open port, network session, and artifacts hidden and deleted in the file system inside Docker Container. The artifacts acquisition tool as result of this study has been developed to collect the artifacts reflecting Docker environment and it has been confirmed that it could collect the artifacts that were not collected by the artifact collection tool for the traditional Linux system.
