D.The purpose of this study was to investigate the variables related to smart phone addiction at-risk Chinese high school students. One thousand two hundreds Chinese high school students in three Chinese high schools responded to the questionnaires sent by mail. Frequencies and correlation and multiple regressions were implemented to analyze the data.The results of the study were as follows. First, smart phone addition at-risk Chinese high school students the higher smart phone addiction, the worse adaptation of school life. Second, smart phone addition at-risk Chinese high school students the higher smart phone addiction, the higher stress level. Third, smart phone addition at-risk Chinese high school students the higher smart phone addiction, the longer use of smart phone. Fourth, there was not relation between smart phone addiction and gender.The limitations of the study were as follows. First, the generalization of the study results was limited because the subjects of the study did not include senior high school students. Second, the questionnaire was answered by the students' self-report type, so it is difficult to verify the authenticity of answers. Third, the study results cannot be generalized to the other cities because the subjects of the study city was limited in one city. Fourth, cultural differences were not recognized because the research tools developed in Korea were used.There are suggestions for future studies. First, in future studies the study should in many walks of life and many cities. Second, in future studies, self-report format of the questionnaire interviews, and observation are needed to measure. Third, based on gender differences, smart phones and smart phones using the characteristics of influence between addiction should be considered. Fourth, the prevention programs should be developed for youth and implemented to test the effectiveness of th programs. Fifth, in future studies, the correlation between parenting attitudes and smart phone addiction should be investigated. Sixth, the correlations among smart phone addiction, academic performance, and interpersonal influence should be investigate.
