This study provides an empirical overview of the trade structure of the shipbuilding equipment industry through social network analysis. The previous researches are limited to analyze competitiveness using Trade Specialization Index and Revealed Comparative Advantage, or derive implications through surveys. Therefore, analyzing the structure of the trade network of the shipbuilding equipment industry through social network analysis and identifying the relationship between countries will provide meaningful research result. As a result of the study, Germany had the highest number in both Degree Centrality and Eigenvector Centrality, followed by countries such as the United States, China, and Japan. Korea ranked the lowest among the three East Asian countries, and it was lower than its global competitors in the shipbuilding equipment industry.
