From a study of the «Relationes ad limina» and the «Status animarum» of Casalvecchio, a small town in Puglia, Fedele derives statisticts relating to the population structure and movement between 1711 and 1750. Eleven tables and several graphs illustrate the results concerning: birth and death rates, marriages, population growth, fecundity and the interval between generations.
