This study aimed to PI is reliable and valid tool for measuring perfectionism for a group of Science-Gifted and General Students, a group of Elementary school and Middle school. To study of Generality of Inventory, aimed at validation of Korea Version of Perfectionism Inventory which was developed by Han(2015). This study focused on whether or not the item response are differential among groups and the structure of factors in PI are fit, and the fitness of factors are differential among groups. This study based on validity of items were evaluated by the Messick(1995)’s framework. In this study, we examined the validity for items in two aspects (i.e., content, substantive, structural, generalization aspects of validity), Methodologically, Rasch model and structural equation modeling(SEM) and MANOVA were used to identify the research questions. The results of Rasch model analysis showed that the 34 items selected met the benchmark of item validity. The results of Rasch model analysis showed that a group of Science-Gifted students and General Students was not differential of Perfectionism. This results show that Korean version of the PI is reliable and valid tool for measuring perfectionism was a group of Science-Gifted and General Students.
