Brand logo can derive new meanings and directions while reducing the communication time and distance. Moving-Image communication gradually becomes the main way to communicate. It generates many manifestations. Under this background, Moving Image, through graphic, sound and motion way of communication, gradually formed the popular of motion graphic. So when we began to develop a new brand, we should create the brand logo that is communicated by motion graphic for a better communication and distinction. By generating and analysing previous cases, this study, firstly systemizes the brand logo’s 6 expressive types. Then it focuses on exploring the expressive types of motion graphics, which is about the elements and types of motion graphics. In next step, this study redefines the motion brand logo. Motion brand logo is a way to express the brand logo by motion graphics. After it, in order to export the motion brand logo’s expressive types, this paper combines the previous results of brand logo and motion graphics to have a cross-over analysis by which the paper summarizes a new expressive type of motion brand logo. Through the survey of the previous results, the paper summarizes new expressive types of motion brand logo, which are “ illusion type of motion brand logo, metaphor type of motion brand logo, storytelling type of motion brand logo, interactive type of motion brand logo, combination type of motion brand logo, and intonation type of motion brand logo”Then, the paper discovers the components and characteristics of motion brand logo's six expressive types according to previous research results. By analyzing the cases, the paper tests its effectiveness and existence. It helps to understand the motion brand logo and extend its awareness scope.
