In this study, We investigated not only the population densities of aerobic heterotrophic and fecal coliforms to fecal streptococci ratio (FC/FS) but also their population diversities by 16S rDNA analysis from the water of Hwanglyong artificial lake in the Kunsan national university from May to October 2013. The results were as follows; Population densities of aerobic heterotrophic bacteria by plate counting method were in the range of 3.5 ± 0.5 x 103 ~ 5.8 ± 0.1 x 105 cfu/ml during sampling periods, respectively. Water temperature ranged from 17.6 to 33.0℃, pH values varied from 5.5 to 7.3 And DO values varied from 4.07 ~ 8.76 mg/L. And fecal coliforms and fecal streptococci not showed the Hwanglyong artificial lake, respectively. We selected eight strains and identified by using 16S rDNA analysis. As a result, they were identified as Sphingomonas echinoides, Bacillus pumilus, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Sphingomonas sittichii, Staphylococcus cohnii, Lapillicoccus jejuensis, Bacillus pumilus and Bacillus licheniformis.
