Due to the academic nature of Earth Science, the reasoning in development theory has played a key role. Therefore, the reasoning is significantly addressed in real earth science classes. This study analysis the school earth science classes from the perspective of Reasoning-based Inquiry Model(RbIM), then suggest the supplementation and investigate the consideration for applying that model in the class. The lesson scene related the RbIM appeared six times during the 4 classes. Several times, the first stage of the RbIM, confront in that teachers present earth science phenomena or real data, was not found. In addition, there were shortage of logical reasoning process. The weakness of the students' background knowledge are possible reason. For the effective RbIM application, the selective application for the proper theme must be attempted. And the consideration for the various students' intellectual level must be needed also.
