Based on the previous research on Supply Chain Partnership(SCP), this study empirically analyzed the relationship among determinants of SCP including exporting firms' characteristics(export experience and export orientation) and information technology utilization characteristics(information exchange between trading partners and use of information technology systems), SCP level, and performances in Korean exporting firms. The results of hypotheses test revealed that exporting firms' characteristics had significant influence on the level of SCP. Furthermore, SCP level also had significant influence on the performance of the Korean exporting firms. However, the results of the moderated regression analysis showed that there were no moderation effect of the SCP level on the relationships between the determinants of SCP and the exporting firms' performances except the case of relationship between export orientation and financial performance. Considering the relative importance of export in Korean economy, this study provides several useful strategic implications to Korean exporting firms which have much interest in constructing stronger SCP with their respective trading partners.
