The purpose of this study was to comparatively study the structure of Technology part in Technology Education & Home Economics textbook for the 7th grades of Korea and Taiwan, and provide the current issues for textbook development and improvement about the structure of Technology part in Technology textbook of the both nations. The results from this study were as follows: First, The Taiwan Ministry of Education only formulates one kind of Technology textbook and in Korea the textbook which is authenticated by the Korean Ministry of Education to be possible to publish freely. Second, regarding the external structure of the content, the textbooks of Korea and Taiwan were generally similar except the page number. Third, regarding the internal structure of the contents, it was set more in large units of Taiwan than Korea. The content of the units was different between Korea and Taiwan, the number of experiments and evaluations of Korea more than Taiwan. Fourth, suggestions based on the results of this study are as follows: ①It is necessary to develop the organization of the Technology textbook with the considerations of national culture trait, social policies and needs. ②When select external structure of contents to compose the Technology textbook, the authors of the Technology textbooks must consider the interest of the students with a priority. ③To achieve educational goals reflected by curriculum, the internal structure of the textbook contents should decided by the context of sequence and consistency.
