Multiphase open-winding motor has an excellent performance in fault tolerance, power density, and efficiency. It has been widely used in various motor applications, but also produces electromagnetic interference (EMI) problems. This paper proposes a targeted modeling method according to the structural characteristics of the six-phase open-winding motor, which can be used for EMI simulation analysis. This paper uses a measurement-based modeling method of motor impedance characteristics and uses multistage linear RLC circuits to form the high frequency model of the motor. Based on the impedance curve to parameterize the motor model, the complete high frequency model of six-phase open-winding motor is established and verified.
