This paper proposes a self-organizing wireless sensing system that realizes the dynamic scheduling of work-in-process in the production process. The system consists of Bluetooth low energy beacons, wireless signal monitors, gateways and network devices. First, beacons with unique identity are embedded in work-in-process. In addition, the equipment designated by the production plan is equipped with wireless signal monitors, so that the spatio-temporal trajectory information during the transfer of the workstations can be effectively captured. It is also called a closed loop system. It is known from the experiment that the beacon of the work-in-progress triggers the wireless signal monitors of the adjacent workstation equipment. That is, unplanned work-in-progress is automatically integrated into the predefined production schedule. Specifically, the proposed system facilitates the digital transformation of factories.
