This paper presents the design and construction of robotic platforms through Final Engineering Projects by students of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering in the framework of applied research projects. It describes the ways the execution of these specific projects serves deepening and extending the students education in mechatronics and, at the same time, provides didactic and research resources for experimental purposes.
