The high carbon dioxide enrichment capacity is the predominant characteristic of boiler operated at O2/CO2 atmosphere with recirculated flue gas, which is different from the general boiler operated at air atmosphere. An analysis model of coal combustion products is built for the actual 35MWth O2/CO2 boiler with recirculated flue gas considering actual air leakages. Then the carbon dioxide enrichment capacity is measured and the analysis model of coal combustion products is used for the actual carbon dioxide enrichment capacity analysis of the O2/CO2 boiler. The results show that the analysis model of coal combustion products for the O2/CO2 boiler can be effectively used to evaluate the carbon dioxide enrichment capacity, and reducing the air leakages of air heater and electrostatic precipitator are the most useful measures to improve the carbon dioxide enrichment capacity for the 35MWth O2/CO2 boiler.
