With the introduction of the national strategy of “green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains” (“two mountains” strategy), the rural guesthouse industry, which is highly consistent with the “two mountains” strategy, has begun to develop rapidly. However, it is difficult to expand the rural power grid, and there is a large difference between peak and valley of the electricity load of rural guesthouse due to the impact of the tourist number on it. Therefore, this study focuses on the demand side peak regulation technology to alleviate the contradiction between rural development and power grid restrictions. In this study, a representative village with guesthouse as its main industry is taken as the research object: firstly, conduct on-site investigation and collection of its electricity load data, and analyze its electricity characteristics and problems based on the data; secondly, through data splitting, the power load characteristics of the air-conditioning system are obtained, and combined with the characteristics of the air-conditioning power load characteristics and the natural conditions of the rural guesthouse, a group regulation strategy of peak load regulation is proposed; finally, the actual electrical load data is brought into the theoretical model of group regulation strategy to verify the feasibility and peak regulation effect of the strategy. The group control strategy proposed by this study can effectively reduce the load difference between peak and valley, cut peak and fill valley, and provide technical support for rural guesthouse peak regulation system.
