The advancement in ambient energy harvesting discipline, to reduce reliance on batteries, has seen a growth in the past few decades. We are now using nanogenerators, by transforming ambient energy into electrical energy and using it for charging wearables, to augment self-powered sensors and more applications, thereby making electrical energy usage more efficient and environment friendly. In this paper, we will concentrate on the methods of ambient energy scavenging thus creating a comparative study using the daily life applications.
