According to the growing human population, ensuring food is one of the most important challenges for human societies especially developing countries. For this reason, greenhouses have grown significantly and this occurrence needs more energy supply. On the other hand, due to environmental pollution and Carbon Dioxide emission which is one of the most obvious reasons of global warming, the use of fossil fuels is not a safe method and due to environmental compatibility and renewability of renewable energies, the use of these resources is one of the best energy-supplying options for a sustainable development. Wind energy is one of the most common renewable resources and Iran has a suitable wind potential. In this research, 100 kW of renewable electricity in the Pakdasht greenhouses was supplied and evaluated by three wind turbines with different power generation diagrams. In this case, in order to supplying electricity during peak consumption, turbine-generated electricity replaced with the diesel generator system and power outage was sold to the grid. Finally, the results showed that Eocycle WT is the most suitable option in this city due to the greater conformity of this turbine power curves with the intensity and pattern of the wind blowing in this city. In fact, it reduced 311 tons of CO2 emission by generating 474,672 kWh of electricity per year. The estimated cost of energy consumption in this project was $ 0.07 per kilowatt.
