Baes on the same inductive link, a pulse phase modulation method is proposed for uplink data transfer in a wireless power transfer system. It is proved that the crosstalk between the power and data link is small. The proposed system was simulated under 1MHz resonant frequency for power transfer. Simulation results show that the maximum data rate can be 62.25kbps that is half of carrier frequency, and the bit error rate is extremely low. In addition, there is ultra-low crosstalk between the power and data link.
