The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of point spread function on image restoration. This paper first analyzes the causes of image blur, second describes the basic model of image blur, and analysis several classical image restoration algorithms. It is found that the larger and smaller point extension functions make the result of image restoration worse. The conclusion is that the setting of the point spread function is very important in the classical image filtering method.
