The core concept of Smart Grid (SG) is to enhance the level of intelligent management for power grid by the application of modern information, communication and other advanced technologies. With wide coverage, high reliability and large capacity, the Long-Term-Evolution (LTE) network is widely used in the SG wireless communication. However, SG is different from traditional cellular networks. Many kinds of equipments in the smart grid have quite different Quality of Service (QoS) requirements. Since there are some shortcomings in the existing resource allocation algorithms in LTE network, this paper aims to propose a resource scheduling algorithm, which can meet the needs of users' different QoS requirements. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is fit for smart grid wireless communication network and can improve the performance of high-priority users as well as realize the differentiated treatment of users.
