A non-overlapping domain decomposition (DD) preconditioner is applied in synergy with the surface integral equation (SIE) for solving large radiation and scattering problems including multiscale and/or multiphysics features. The accuracy, versatility and robustness of the proposed approach are justified through the solution of some real-life examples.
