We develop a light-scattering-type PM2.5 sensor that can measure PM2.5 particulate matter with high precision while suppressing the stray light generated in the sensor. We devised a light absorption unit with an inclined photodetector for auto power control. We confirmed that the light absorption unit can suppress the increase of stray light in the sensor based on both optical simulation and experiments.
