This article presents the design and implementation of a novel and highly efficient UHF folded dipole meandering antenna with a grounded parasitic loop and associated circuitry for energy harvesting at 915 MHz. The antenna is implemented on FR4 board with a dimension of 41.3mm × 17.5mm. The conversion efficiency of the harvesting circuit is measured 0.005% at a distance of 1.5m from the radiation source. In the test, a commercial UHF RFID reader was used as the radiation source.
