Whole-process engineering consulting, due to its core focus on market demand and adaptability to diverse customer needs, is the inevitable trend in the development of China's engineering consultation industry. However, the current promotion and application of this model face numerous challenges and yield suboptimal results. Given the complex interrelationships among the influencing factors of the promotion and application of whole-process engineering consulting, this paper begins by analyzing the intrinsic characteristics and current status of its application. It then, through literature review and field research methods, reidentifies the influencing factors of the promotion and application of whole-process engineering consulting based on the essence and characteristics of this field. Utilizing a "external environment-project factors-stakeholders" framework and drawing upon a large and diverse dataset, the paper employs complex network analysis to explore the interrelationships and transmission pathways among these influencing factors. Subsequently, a model of the transmission mechanism of influencing factors in the application and promotion of whole-process engineering consulting is proposed, with the aim of providing theoretical guidance for effectively promoting the application of the whole-process engineering consulting model.
