Time-domain filters with single- and differential-ended architectures are technologically scalable and cost-efficient suited for next-generation wireless transmitters. Differential time-domain filters provide better linearity but are limited by common-mode drifts and other second-order effects. This paper provides detailed analysis of single- and differential-ended time-domain filter architecture for wireless transmitters with a solution to alleviate common-mode drift and achieve high linearity.
