A battery pack with many cells may gradually lose performance, causing uneven state-of-charge (SOC) and pack degradation. All batteries must have the same SOC in order to achieve equilibrium. We will also take into account how each cell’s output power and the demand are balanced. In this study, the SOCs of batteries of various capacities are balanced using a battery management system (BMS) in the context of an electric car battery pack, as well as the output power supply and delay demand of each battery. The outcomes of using this idea are shown with the use of an example.
