Coarse-fine mesh space mapping (SM) incorporating mesh deformation has gained a wide range of application scenarios in electromagnetic (EM) optimization. Mesh deformation strategy dedicated to arc structures makes space mapping suitable for a more practical components framework. This paper aims to test the universality of the mesh deformation-embedded space mapping technique by optimizing an X-Ku band waveguide filter with rounded corners.
