Offshore wind power is attracting increasingly attentions as an alternative for oil and gas platforms. Operational flexibility is related to both gas and power systems, which is not well captured by existing works. An operational flexibility quantification method is proposed incorporating constraints of gas and power systems. The model simplifies complex behaviors of platforms, enabling the problem to be solved by existing optimization tools. The proposed method is applied to an integrated power and gas system extracted from a real oil and gas field in Northern China. It is shown that the proposed method could provide operational flexibility results that are more accurate than the existing methods.
