Aiming at the problem of anti-short-circuit ability in the design of dry type transformer with oblong winding, the short-circuit mechanical properties of oblong winding and its simplified model under the condition of short-circuit leakage magnetic field and peak short-circuit current are analyzed numerically, and the influence of winding axial size on short-circuit performance parameters of transformer is investigated.
