The article discusses stone balls discovered on archaeological sites related to the Fremont people. The author questions suggestions by archaeologists that the balls were used for a game in which they were rolled into holes due to the lack of damage to the balls. He suggests the balls were used in a juggling game similar to those played by Indian tribes such as the Utes, Shoshoni and Paiutes. He notes differences in sizes for the balls and suggests the balls may indicate a link between the Fremont Culture and other Indian tribes.
