The article focuses on the role of protein assembly in muscle contraction. The contact between myosin molecules of thick filaments and actin molecules results contraction of muscles. It mentions that the contraction of the muscles is also resulted when the conformation of Tropomyosin and Troponin proteins are changed by calcium ions.
