A homochiral open-framework fluorinated cobalt phosphate with a 2-fold interpenetrating diamond topology was ionothermally synthesized. The significant enantiomeric excess of the bulk product was confirmed by strong signals in its solid state circular dichroism (CD) spectrum. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
