This study examines the impact of the technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge (TPACK) based instruction on podcasting and vodcasting for preservice teachers in the United States. Podcasting and vodcasting enhances public school learners' creativity and critical thinking as well as verbal skills. Preservice teachers enrolled in teacher preparation programs benefit from learning pedagogical reasons to implement podcasting and vodcasting. The conceptual knowledge is not enough. They should also have the technology skills to facilitate them in the context of the subject they are teaching. The result indicates that the research participants developed positive attitudes towards using podcasting and vodcasting in their classrooms after the instructional sequences. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
