The article presents a study that examines the relationship among acceptance of evolution, religiosity and teaching preference for evolution in biology education in Turkey. It reveals how religious orientation and acceptance of evolutionary theory of preservice biology teachers can be an important factor to influence to what students will be exposed to evolutionary theory in biology courses. It notes the importance of developing a valid religiosity scale to explore attitudes of evolution.
