The article presents profiles of several students the publication has labeled "changemakers" for their efforts outside the classroom. April Cho founded an arts program at the Third Street Elementary School in California. Jackson Davis V began a campaign to honor York, the enslaved African-American man who assisted the expedition of Lewis and Clark. Matthew Shimura directed a documentary on childhood obesity.
