Background:Primary cutaneous malignant melanoma of the breast is a rare entity, accounting for less than 5% of all malignant melanomas.Description of Case:A 74-year-old woman was seen for a lesion in the breast. Clinical examination and laboratory results confirmed the diagnosis of a primary cutaneous melanoma of the breast. The tumour was excised along with the axillary lymph nodes and supraclavicular lymph nodes. All tissues were sent for histological evaluation. Conclusion:Despite its rareness, primary cutaneous melanoma of the breast region can be managed using the same techniques as for other skin parts. Wide three-dimensional local excision and sentinel lymph node biopsy is the selected treatment.
