The purpose of this study is to conduct an audience participation workshop by creating a script for an Educational Theatre and producing a youth musical using an Educational Theatre method based on the gambling addiction problem of adolescents. As a research method, the principles and processes of Practice Based Research(PBR) were used, and the co-creation methodology was studied and analyzed in accordance with the creative elements necessary for the performance of the Theatre in Education(TIE) workshop. The results of this study are as follows. First, plans and initiatives were prepared in the pre-production stage. In the entire process of co-creation, actors, directors, and staff all applied the methodology of co-creation and proceeded as a process-oriented educational theatre workshop method rather than results. Second, the production stage is the creation and practice stage. It creates a TIE script for educational theatre and an adaptation script for TIE musical performances to compose the scene and capture the process of recognizing problems. Third, it is the stage of performance and appreciation. Finally, the evaluation and analysis of the Going Back educational theatre TIE workshop performance were researched and analyzed in this paper. It attempted to overcome the limitations of an aesthetic research centered on performance results by critics by analyzing and studying the practical principles and processes of the co-creation method. In addition, by performing an educational theatre workshop, it was an opportunity to recognize the gambling problems of teenagers and solve the problems.
