Analyzing movies centering on shirade is to grasp all non-verbal communication other than language, and it focuses on the story of the movie (story) and how the director's sense of subject is conveyed (discourse) to the audience. In other words, no matter how great a story is, it becomes a complete narrative art only when it can be delivered to the audience. Film noir, defined by the distinct differentiation of visual style, is a film genre that can convey the director's sense of subject well in color because the narrative of a film is regarded as an object of visual expression rather than logical explanation. This study does not define color only as the mise-en-scène of consultation, but discusses the independence and subjectivity of colors that convey the narrative in accordance with the specificity of the medium of film.
