In the food code, 42 pesticides of simultaneous multi-residue analysis are registered but the maximum residue limit (MRL) among livestock products are established 135 pesticides. Therefore, it is a necessary to develop an analysis method containing 135 pesticides in which MRL is set. To increased efficiency of analysis, this study was developed a rapid and easy multi-residue method using QuEChERS (Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged and Safe). For development of the analysis method, beef, pork, chicken, egg, milk and fat among livestock products were used. The livestock products were extracted with acetonitrile followed by addition of MgSO4 (anhydrous magnesium sulfate) and sodium chloride. Dispersive solid-phase extraction (d-SPE) clean-up was carried out using MgSO4, C18 (octadecyl) and PSA (primary secondary amine). The matrix matched standard curves were constructed using six levels and coefficient of determination (R2). All pesticides were recovered in the range of 70∼120% and standard deviation values were less than 32% at spike levels of 0.01, 0.02 and 0.1 mg/kg which is under the Codex guideline (CODEX CAC/GL 40) and food safety evaluation department guidelines. Finally, this study has expanded the multi-reside pesticide analysis method in livestock products to 126 pesticides using LC-MS/MS, and this method will be useful for pesticide analysis.
