This study presents a systematic literature review of research trends in genre analysis for Korean Education for Academic Purposes with a specific focus on structural move analysis. A total of 44 studies were analyzed, and their meta-information trends and content trends were identified. Based on the analysis, nine recommendations and points of discussion were proposed to enhance the qualitative development of genre analysis for academic Korean language education. These include diversifying research materials and expanding academic fields, considering the interaction between research methods and academic text genres, paying attention to author's status, reflecting on the validity of comparative studies, emphasizing the importance of building and utilizing research data corpus, balancing the characteristics of genres and social contexts, discussing educational values and functions of exploratory and normative genre analyses, and systematizing and standardizing genre analysis methods. Through these recommendations and discussions, this study aims to contribute to the advancement of genre analysis for Korean Education for Academic Purposes.
