This study examined the effects of Tiktok usage motivation on use satisfaction and continued use intention for Korean and Chinese adolescents. In particular, we explored the differences in motivation for using Tiktok among Korean-Chinese adolescents and how the difference affects the satisfaction of use and the intention to continue using it. The survey was conducted online and offline(N=312), and exploratory factor analysis, t-test, and multiple regression analysis were performed through SPSS 25.0. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the motivations for using Tiktok among Korean adolescents are spending-time, self-expression, and pursuing information/entertainment. It turns out that Chinese adolescents are entertainment/information seeking, communication, self-expression, and spending-time. For Korean adolescents, spending time through Tiktok was the most important motivation for use, and for Chinese adolescents, entertainment/information seeking was the most important motivation for use. It was confirmed that the various motivations of use of Korean and Chinese youths not only have a significant effect on use satisfaction and continuous use intention, but also have some differences in influence. It is hoped that this study based on the usage behavior of Tiktok, will contribute to related convergence studies such as optimizing the function of short video contents, public relations marketing, and international comparative studies in the future.
